The Hunting is a four-part mini series that is due to be screened on SBS on 1 August and we highly recommend it to teachers and parents.
It deals with confronting issues about teenage relationships, sex and consent as a result of a nude photo scandal, and the consequences of this on four teens, their teachers and families. This gripping and tightly paced drama is a must-see for anyone with a teenager in their life.
“Tackling themes of misogyny, privacy, sexuality and sexualisation, online exploitation, masculinity and gender, the series uses this singular event as a way of exploring some of the most pressing issues of our time and offering a vital portrait of contemporary, multicultural Australia.” (Screen Australia)
