Rediscovering Anne of Green Gables

The new Netflix series Anne with an E has sent our younger readers to the iCentre looking for the L M Montgomery Anne of Green Gables books to read. We are so excited that the new series has introduced this timeless classic to a whole new generation of readers.  The iCentre has some lovely editions available for loan. The story is also available in ebook format.

Do you like the new series? It’s darker than previous ones but at its heart is still the adventures of a young, feisty orphaned girl living in the late 19th century who finds an unlikely home with a spinster and her softly spoken bachelor brother.
