National Library of Australia
The National Library of Australia (NLA) has some incredible resources for both staff and students. While the NLA can’t research or provide answers to school or university assignments, all Australian residents (including students -there is no age limit) are eligible to join the National Library. You simply sign up for a Library Card here. This gives you access to all their eResources – including 212 licensed databases!
Another service of the National Library of Australia is the Trove search aggregator. TROVE is a single entry search for over 6 billion artefacts, curiosities, and stories from Australia’s cultural, community and research institutions. These include libraries, museums, galleries, the media, government and community organisations, and more.
If you would like to know more about the National Library or the TROVE search facility, iCentre staff would be more than happy to show you what they have available.
The National Library of Australia also offers tutorials about their services and facilities on the Youtube channel, and you can stay updated on their initiatives by following them on social media.
