Monet in Brisbane – oui s’il te plaît
A little bit of Paris visits Brisbane – Oui!
Starting this week on Friday, 9th June, the spectacular Monet in Paris exhibition will open for two months in Northshore . ‘Monet in Paris’ pays homage to Claude Monet and the Impressionists painters of the mid-19th Century right through to the early 20th Century, exploring not only the paintings themselves but the history of the Impressionist movement amid the social and political turbulence of the time (Brouse, 2023).
This exhibit combines ‘…motion graphics, cinema surround sound, aroma, and up to forty high-definition projectors to provide one of the most exciting multi-screen environments in the world’ (Brouse, 2023). The exhibit will be opened seven days a week and a pre-purchased ticket is a must due to the demand for tickets. If you feel like a trip down the Seine without leaving Brisbane this exhibition is for you.
