3 more things about Ms. Davis
We asked Ms Davis to answer a few questions for us so that we could get to know her better. Here is what she told us:
What inspired you to want to work in libraries?
Definitely the programs which are available to all patrons. I think many people still have the mindset that a library is just for borrowing books and a place to be quiet in. Whereas what opened up my eyes to changing my career path was that a library is a place of inclusiveness for all people of all learning styles, capabilities and skill sets.
What are your three favourite books?
I don’t have favourite books however I do tend to lean toward favourite authors – Lindsey Kelk, Shari Low and Cecilia Ahern.
What are you looking forward to in your work with the iCentre?
I’m really looking forward to the iCentre events such as ‘Read Like a Girl,’ and book week along with building displays within the iCentre.
