International Women’s Day Breakfast

Please join us on Thursday, March 8th at 6.45 am for our #RLaG International Women’s Day Breakfast.  This year our theme will focus on sporting stories to inspire all girls, and our guest speaker will be  Taryn Bashford, author of The Harper Effect,  blogger, and creator of Project Awesome, a campaign to address the seemingly universal feeling teens have about themselves – that they’re not good enough.

As an author of coming-of-age novels about teens who go above and beyond the norm, Taryn will be offering insights and advice for students about how to find their ‘fit’ in life – no matter their age, race, or shape.  She firmly believes that, when we find our fit in life, we are more confident in ourselves.

A keen reader herself, Taryn will also share great reads she has come across for teenage girls.
