Holiday Writing Workshop

School holidays are a great time to spend time enjoying your hobbies and improving your skills. For those keen writers out there, international award-winning author and writing coach Brian Falkner has developed a writing course that may interest you!

The course

The internationally acclaimed writing course, for students aged 9-14, shows you how to write stories the way authors do. During the three-day school holiday writing camp, Brian will take you on a journey of fun and discovery, learning how to create, develop and write awesome stories, guiding you every step of the way. By the end of the course, each participant will have written a story from scratch with guidance and one-on-one mentoring from a published author!

About Brian Falkner

Brian is the founder and developer of Write Like an Author. He is the award-winning author of twenty novels and one anthology of short stories for young people.

Prior to becoming a children’s author, Brian trained as a journalist and then worked as a reporter and an advertising copywriter, a radio announcer and an internet developer. His hobbies include scuba-diving, travel, amateur theatre, photography and rugby.

He lives on the sunny Gold Coast of Australia and regularly presents Write Like an Author camps in Australia, New Zealand and the US.
