Holiday Reading Recommendations for Staff and Bookchatters
Date Published: 12/09/2020
The Mother Fault by Kate Mildenhall is one of this year’s most hyped Australian novels and it won’t disappoint lovers of the literary thriller genre. At its heart, it is a novel about motherhood and what a mother will do for her children, no matter what. Set in the near future, in a dystopian world that is terrifyingly plausible, climate change, surveillance and political control all feature heavily, sounding a warning bell for readers.
The novel is an addictive, binge-able page-turner and a perfect read for the holidays.
