Database Tutorials
Date Published: 24/05/2022
Databases provide high quality academic sources for research. For students doing assignments, these offer both credible and reliable information and are highly recommended. Teachers will expect to see such sources in student Reference Lists for research tasks.
The iCentre team have created tutorials for each of the databases you have access to through the OPAC. These include:
- ANZRC
- Britannica (Low, Middle, and High)
- eLibrary ProQuest
- Gale eBooks
- PLOS One
- Ancient and Medieval History Online
- Modern World History Online
- Science Online
- World Geography and Culture Online
You can access these tutorials through Quicklinks – iCentre Tutorials – iCentre Tips & Tricks.
As always, if you need more help with accessing or using the databases, pop into the iCentre or ‘Ask a Librarian’.
